Concrete Walkways and Front Paths
Front walks, side paths and garden connections poured with clean lines and grades that shed water off the surface.
A front walkway is the first piece of hardscaping a visitor stands on. Width, alignment and the transition to your steps matter as much as the concrete itself.
We lay out walkways on site with you so the path suits how the house is actually used — including access to side gates, garbage storage and garden beds.
Layout and width
Main walkways are typically set wide enough for two people to walk side by side. Secondary paths can be narrower. We mark the layout before excavation so you can see it in place.
Base and drainage
Walkways are excavated and built on compacted granular base, and cross-slope is set so water runs off to landscaping rather than pooling against the house or freezing in low spots.
Transitions and finishing
We pay attention to where the walk meets steps, the driveway and the city sidewalk. Joints are placed to match the walkway rhythm and edges are tooled for a clean line.
