A driveway carries more weight than any other slab on a residential property. Vehicles, delivery trucks and winter plowing all load the same surface, which is why a driveway is only as good as the excavation and base underneath it.
We handle the full driveway process from removal of the existing surface through final finishing, and we set grades so water leaves the slab and moves away from your garage and foundation.
Excavation and base preparation
Existing asphalt, concrete or interlock is removed and the subgrade is excavated to depth. Granular material is placed in lifts and compacted so the slab is supported evenly across its full area.

Forming, grading and drainage
Forms are set to the finished elevations we agreed on at the estimate. Grades are pulled away from the garage door, walkways and foundation so surface water has somewhere to go.
Reinforcement and placement
Where the design calls for it, rebar or mesh is placed and supported off the base. Concrete is placed, screeded and consolidated, then finished and jointed to control where shrinkage cracking occurs.
Finishing and cleanup
Most GTA driveways receive a broom finish for traction. Edges are tooled, control joints are cut or tooled at planned spacing, and the work area is cleaned before we leave.
