Interlock Walkways and Paths
Front walks and side paths in pavers, with restrained edges so the path holds its shape season after season.
Walkways are narrow, which makes them especially dependent on edge restraint — there is very little field to hold the outside rows in place.
We build walks with the same base discipline as a patio and finish them with a border that frames the path and locks the field.
Curves and alignment
Paver walks handle curves well. We lay out the alignment on site so the path flows naturally from the driveway or sidewalk to the entry.
Edge restraint
Restraint is installed along both sides and spiked into the compacted base, then backfilled so the path edge stays supported.
Steps and transitions
Where a walk changes elevation, we integrate step units or a landing rather than forcing an awkward slope.
